Estudio: Color digital - Moriarty

¡Hola a todos! me gustaría compartir con vosotros la ilustración digital que hice de Moriarty hace algo de tiempo; os dejo el paso a paso por si os pica la curiosidad u os pudiera resultar útil.
He hecho algunos cambios en el blog también, espero que os gusten.
Hi all! I would like to show you this Moriarty's digital painting portrait that I did some time ago explaining the step by step. I did some changes too in my blog backgrounds. I wish you like it.

Lo primero que hice fue encajar el retrato, alinear los ojos, tomar el control de la figura completa. Después toca hacer un estudio del claroscuro, sacar volúmenes a través de la sombra primero y luego ir sacando luces; es importante conocer las formas y entender la geometría que compone lo que estamos dibujando para colocar cada una de esas sombras con un sentido lógico (aunque no conozcamos el nombre o la anatomía exacta) trabajando sobre un fondo de color conseguimos que el blanco intenso del fondo no nos distraiga.
First of all I sketched the portrait building the face with the eyes, brows, nose and mouth in the right place to take control of the figure.
Then, you must make a study of the white and dark shapes to give volume to the portrait. I think it's more important to know about what geometrical pieces are composing the face (to put the shadows in the right place), than know the anatomy face names. Drawing in a colored background we can draw from dark shapes to the lights up.

Por último ponemos el color y contrastamos con cálidos y fríos para potenciar el volumen que trabajamos anteriormente.

Finally we contrast with the cold and hot colours to develope the final portrait volumes.
